Ideopolis: Knowledge Cities
Following the success of the first Ideopolis report, in April 2006 we launched our second major consortium project on cities in the knowledge economy:
- To understand how different cities can thrive in the knowledge economy
- To influence UK-level and European Union-level policies on cities and regions through evidence-based research
- To support cities in implementing policies that will help them become more economically successful, socially inclusive and sustainable.
Sponsors of the second phase of Ideopolis are:
- The Arts Council
- The Department for Communities and Local Government
- The Greater Norwich Partnership
